Just nine years, two kids and one dog after their debut “Low Season“ – the soundtrack for Madeleine Dallmayers award-winning documentary “Low Season in Paradise“ – Strudel return with their second album: “GIORGIO“. After several different versions and approaches for a second album, Strudel radically remembered their simple roots and sat down for one weekend at Flurirocks, Zürich, Switzerland with various musical instruments and an selected international cast of beers.
Setting up on friday night, recording jams of bass & guitar. Cutting the best pieces out the morning after and then overdubbing sought out layers of different sounds and kids toys on saturday night and sunday afternoon. Recorded in a breeze of swiss city night air, gathering a relaxed mysterious ambiance in a mesmerizing slow morphing vortex.
